This National Register district includes over 60 contributing features and buildings, set in one of the largest landscpe designs ever realized by the Olmsted Brothers firm of Brookline, MA, dating from 1911-1940's.  Working with Maul Foster & Alongi, the team was assembled by The Port of Skagit County to investigate historic property development options for this unique site covering hundreds of acres, including its own farm complex and several dozen structures executed in variations on Spanish Colonial and Mediterranean Revival architecture.  Stay tuned for more details on this extraordinarily significant site, its history and its future adaptive re-use possibilities.
