Details

Originally built as the Apartment Hotel Cissna, this art deco 1929 apartment building in downtown Bellingham is now owned by our clients the Catholic Housing Services of Western Washington and contains affordable housing above period-authentic street-level retail shops. Our firm was hired as the historic preservation architect working in a team led by RMC Architects of Bellingham. We have been acting as liaison with the State Historic Preservation Officer and the National Park Service in compiling and filing the NPS Parts 1, 2 and 3 historic tax credit applications on this important rehabilitation of badly-needed affordable housing in this historic district.
