Details

The Wellman Building is a National Register property in the historic downtown commercial district of Jamestown, New York. Restored and re-invented as a mixed use residential building, this project is a significant part of Jamestown's efforts to bring 24-hour activity to the center of this remarkable historic town. Stephen Day assisted the owner group in investigating utilization of the Federal Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit program, including negotiating with potential tax credit investors. He then worked with the owner group to restructure the property ownership to allow utilization of these incentives as part of their comprehensve historic rehabilitation of this building.
