Hastings Landing Port Townsend
This pivotal waterfront redevelopment in the National Register-listed Port Townsend Historic District involves the adaptive re-use of the 1890 Hastings Building, with a new pier-supported building housing a hotel, restaurant, event spaces and small vessel passenger ferry terminal in order to redefine and re-invent this significant building and site. The owner group has obtained local, state and federal shoreline permitting for this complex project. Stephen Day Architecture is in collaboration with RMC Architects on this project. Our firm is leading the consultant group through design and documentation, obtaining National Park Service approvals, City of Port Townsend Historic Preservation Committee design review approvals, and local permitting for this historic project.
