Stephen Day was project architect for the design and construction of the office, research and library facilities of the Hudson River Foundation, located in a restored historic building in the Ladies Mile Historic District of Manhattan. Working with Paul Segal Associates Architects, Stephen was also project designer for the landmark restoration of this 9-story historic loft building, which includes the New York City Andrew Heiskell Library for the Blind and the national headquarters of the noted environmental nonprofit Natural Resources Defense Council. Stephen worked closely with the Director of the Hudson River Foundation to serve this innovative and significant nonprofit organization, established to protect the natural resources and ecosystems of the Hudson River.
