Stephen Day has consulted with the Pike Place Market Public Development Authority regarding historic preservation issues, zoning and transferable development rights options as part of the century-long effort to preserve and enhance this remarkable cultural treasure. Stephen also worked as a liaison between the Pike Place Market and the American Institute of Architects in designing and conducting a highly successful community “charette” focusing on design alternatives for the last remaining undeveloped parcel in the PPM Historic District.
