As project architect with Paul Segal Associates Architects for the total renovation of this 120,000 square foot landmark building in New York’s “Ladies Mile Historic District”, Stephen worked with a series of nationally-recognized nonprofit organizations in designing the building’s restoration in order to fit their requirements as future condominium owners of the building. The project included all new mechanical systems, elevators, structural upgrading, restoration of historic windows, storefronts and façade restoration. Commercial condominium owners included the Hudson River Foundation, the Natural Resources Defense Council, Cambridge University Press and the Andrew Heiskell New York Public Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.
