Owner/Developer: Melvyn Poll Architect: Paul Segal Associates.  Stephen worked with Peter Rees and Paul Segal Associates Architects, and the owner/developer Melvyn Poll on the architectural design and construction administration for the total renovation of the historic Harold Poll Building across from the Pike Place Market in Downtown Seattle. The project included façade restoration, seismic upgrades, all new storefronts, elevators, building systems, windows, lobby and tenant spaces and the addition of basement parking. The project involved a modern, yet historically sympathetic reinterpretation of this historic commercial structure. A major focus of the building renovation is the display of art and rotation of art installations that feature emerging new talent in the Seattle art world, with an emphasis on glass arts.
